What i like about JSP?

I think its about 3-4 weeks since JSP was introduced to me. My html and java programming background helped a lot in understanding JSP. Its not much different from these things, for me its just combining the two. Although JSP has its differences from the two, I have to admit its simpler and easier to understand.

What I like about JSP? Lets start first where I learned JSP. Eclipse... to me eclipse is just a guide and a compiler. This is where my JSP life started. Eclipse is cool because when i hard code, it indicates the errors and sometimes even corrects or suggests replacement for each error. Comparing to the old fashion notepad hardcoding, Eclipse made my hard coding life much more comfortable. Another thing that I like about the things that i learned in JSP is that I could use a server to store data and access these things whenever the program or presentation is running. It further enhanced my knowledge in applying what I learned in JSP outside the school. Frankly all that I have learned in the past 2 years is how to create simple programs with less application in real life. But with a server, its good to see a light in my future. (hehehe)

I really ran out of words in describing what I like about JSP because the experience was too short. I just have to self study JSP or wait for next summer to have guidance in my journy in learning JSP.

Last words, since this is the last time i would be writing a blog as a requirement and maybe last time you ( Ma'am Michelle ) would read this. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you ma'am for enriching our knowledge in scripting. It was a short yet fun experience to be in your class. Thank you! Hope to see you again in the future. :D

Commercial Reviewer Daw Me

Commercials now a days always are becoming more and more advance in terms of effects and quality. Top of the line products even come up always go for the big stars to endores their products. The bigger the name, the more impact the advertisment can be. Catch phrases can also give a commercial a huge boost. Even if a commercial is dull but if the catch phrase is right, it can go miles within the community. A commercial can also have a funny tune. Funny music and lyrics always go popular and hard to forget.

But amongst this elements of what makes a good commercial, I always go for the humor. Like this commercial about Tostillias. No huge name to endores the product, no special effects, no catchy phrases or music. I just admired how funny the guy the commercial became. All started out with a serious basketball game. A man is being cornered with 3 opponents and another man, who looks like a total loser in the game shouts for the ball. After passing to him, the ball hits his head sending the ball up in the air and goes into the ring. Its kind of korny if we think about it but what made this commercial funny is the facial expression of the man who got hit by the ball. Huge points to the geek basketball player look and his seriousness that he could really play the game. Also to his reaction after the ball went in the basket, making the viewers believe that he really did it on purpose.

Simple yet funny... a commercial i trully remembered.

What Not to Buy

Frankly, the net has offered us almost everything that we can find in the market. Sometimes we may stop and think that... "Hey why dont I buy this and that in the net. Saves me from standing up!". There are a lot of reasons why people buy stuff from the net. Several reasons are as followed.

1. Higher percentage of availability of item can be ordered online.
2. Saves you the trouble from going to the store.
3. Can be delivered to you directly.
4. Possibly getting it cheaper.

But among these advantages, I'm not a fan of shopping online. For I prefer to see and test what im purchasing even if the price is cheaper. I would gladly pay double of its value if i can really test and see the item's quality.

What not to shop online? I have little experience of this, but I can advise that not to shop for clothes or any kind of wear on the net.

Reason 1

Might not fit perfectly for you... Sure you can get the measurements of your body and compare it with the information given in the net, but from experience, clothes doesn't really depend on measurements itself to really "fit" you. Clothes might have your correct measurements but might not perfectly go well with your figure. For example, I saw this pair of jeans in the mall, by just looking at it, i know it fits me well. Well it did fit me in terms of measurements but it didnt go well with my long legs.

Reason 2

Defectiveness of quality... There can be damages in the fabric, stains or decoloration. This can really ruin the cloth/clothes you ordered.

Reason 3

No warranties... If there are damages or any unsatisfaction when recieving the things that you ordered, there can be no guarantee that you can still return, exchange or refund for the item that you have bought.

Over all, I simply discourage people to shop online. There is no better way in shopping than personal shopping itself. Getting the best quality and satisfaction is highly guaranteed in this way.
