Movie Reviewer Me : Forbidden Kingdom

The future of kung fu films...

Is all about I can come up after watching The Forbidden Kingdom. Equipped with the fiercest chinese actors like Jet Li and Jackie Chan, makes the movie a huge talk in the film industry. Jet Li, who is your badass quiet kung fu guy with the mix of Jackie Chan, your crazy chinese drunkard who happens to have skills up his sleeves, makes the movie worth your time.

Highs and lows. Highs on the film's fight scenes. Because it sticked to chinese's traditional kung fu forms. No out of this world kung fu moves that will make you go " What the hell!? Where did that came from!? ".On the other side, the movie has no special story what so ever. Your typical adventure squad trying to save China and all kind of story. No major twists and no minor stories revolving the characters.

Its not a good movie and its not a bad movie but it is a good kung fu movie.

E-Commerce Security Issues

E-commerce systems are based upon internet use, which provides open and easy communications on a global basis. However, because the Internet is unregulated, unmanaged and uncontrolled, it poses a wide range of risks and threats to the systems operating on it. The use of internet means that your internal IT and e-commerce systems are potenially accessible by anyone irrespective of their location.

Some of the more common threats that hackers pose to ecommerce systems include:

1. Carrying out denial-of-service (DoS) attacks that stop access to authorised users of a website, so that the site is forced to offer a reduced level of service or, in some cases, ceases operation completely

2. Gaining access to sensitive data such as price lists, catalogues and valuable intellectual property, and altering, destroying or copying it

3. Altering your website, thereby damaging your image or directing your customers to another site

4. Gaining access to financial information about your business or your customers, with a view to perpetrating fraud

5. Using viruses to corrupt your business data

Personally, I fail to recognize this issue when I'm infront of the computer. Since I have limited background on a computer and most of the time I spent infront of the computer is offline so I usually don't think about security. Now that we have mentioned this issue, I remembered the time when I was still new in computers, some of my friends have access to multiple credit card informations. At that time, they used some to order stuff in the net. Back then, knowing that people are capable of doing that, I tend to discourage people around me (including myself) from ever getting a credit card. At present, this is still a major issue in the cyberworld. I look at this issue has no particular end. Why? Because I believe that, with a brand new technology, security will always be strenghthened and it can also be vice versa. The same new technology can be used to strenghten the penetration of this security. For me, security always begins and ends with us.

Possible Career Option

Since the beginning of my interest on how things work around a computer, one of my career goals is to be a graphic artist. Why a graphic artist? Its because the thing that pulled me to a computer are computer games. I know its a shallow reason why I became so interested in computers but its games that made me think of my future around computer games. There are times I would always think of my future on how would I apply my interests in video games onto pursuing a career.

I have reviewed some of my skills. My strengths has led me to dreaming to be a graphic artist. I believe that with my artistic background, my deep understanding of a game's strengths and weaknesses and modernized creativity, really make a good graphic artist.

A graphic designer ( also known as a graphic artist and communication designer ) is a professional within the graphic design and graphic arts industry who assembles together images, typography or motion graphics to create the graphics primarily for published, printed or electronic media, such as brochures and advertising. They are also sometimes responsible for typesetting illustration and web design, or take a teaching position, although these specialties may be assigned to specialists in various graphic design occupations. A core responsibility of the designer's job is to present information in a way that is both accessible and aesthetic.
